Call for Art!
Professional artists are welcome to submit their artwork(s) for consideration for an exhibition in the Switzer Gallery or the Charles W. Lamar Studio at Pensacola State College.
Submissions are currently being accepted year-round, and all submissions should be compiled into one PDF, PowerPoint, or Word document.
Please submit the following:
Exhibition Proposal – (1) page
Artist Statement – (1) page
Artwork Images – (15-20) images, with size, medium, date
Resume’ / CV – (1) page

The Switzer Gallery and Charles W. Lamar Studio
The Switzer Gallery and Charles W. Lamar Studio occupy a special place in Pensacola State College and the lives of Northwest Florida residents and visitors. As teaching galleries, they are catalysts for creativity by providing our students with the best examples of contemporary art related to studio endeavors.
The Switzer Gallery and Charles W. Lamar Studio serve to encourage creative collaborations with artists and local arts organizations. The collective galleries in the Anna Lamar Switzer Center for Visual Arts play a vital role as a resource for learning that connects academia to build upon the strengths of the surrounding community.
Mission
The Switzer Gallery and Charles W. Lamar Studio at Pensacola State College are teaching spaces that exhibit, collect, interpret, lend, and preserve the visual arts. The Switzer Gallery and Charles W. Lamar Studio focus on contemporary art with an active commitment to an academic approach to programming and collections management. These exhibition spaces fulfill the college’s educational mission by serving as resources for the visual arts by presenting exhibitions and programs to the academic audience and the surrounding community.
