Ron Atchison has taught for almost 20 years. From his first teaching experience at FSU, he realized that he absolutely loved it. At Florida State University, he taught Latin and Classical Mythology while working on his Master’s in Latin and Ancient Greek. For more than a decade, Ron taught a variety of classes, ranging from Ancient Greek to Humanities of the Modern World, at Pensacola Junior/State College, where he met his wife, Britt. He went on to teach Latin at Washington High, his High School alma mater. At present, he is once again teaching at Pensacola State College.
Ron resides in Pensacola with his wife and two children, Elijah and Ally Mae. He enjoys cooking, reading, watching football, listening to music, and hanging out in the backyard with his family.
