Inspired by Greek mythology and the jungle-like landscape of the Gulf Coast, Michelle Jones presents lush, vividly colored landscapes that initially suggest refuge but reveal unease through excess saturation, drips, and encroaching growth. The artworks are created through chance-driven acrylic and mixed media processes, constructing a personal mythology that questions whether paradise offers freedom or reflects power, excess, and neglect.
