Associate in Science Degree (AS) & Technical Certificate

The Photography program will prepare students with the knowledge needed for a variety of professional photographic careers in the current and emerging fields of commercial/artistic photography in all its forms, from wet-chemistry to digital procedures in both color and black/white. Emphasis is placed on technical competence, aesthetics, and creative approach.

We focus on the development of visual and technical skills, including camera operation, print production, studio lighting, and alternative processes. Students will learn how to light subjects in a studio, process in black and white and color darkroom, and create, edit, and print photos using digital materials.
