Ralitsa Mihaylova, a Pensacola State College Visual Arts student, will compete for a national 2024 American Advertising Federation (ADDY) award.
Mihaylova’s entry, “The Botanist,” won gold at gold in the Still Photography – Color Single category at the District 4 AAF Annual Conference held April 19-21 in Orlando. The entry also won gold at the 2024 American Advertising Federation Pensacola American Advertising Awards Gala in February in the “Elements of Advertising” category.
The National American Advertising Federation Awards Gala and Dinner will be May 31 in Salt Lake City.
“This prestigious accolade showcases Ralitsa’s exceptional talent and dedication to her craft. Her creative vision and hard work have not only been recognized but celebrated on a district level,” said PSC Professor Kristen Regan.
Former Pensacola State College student Braden Makris also won a gold ADDY for his entry, “Blink-182.” Makris’s entry also won a Judges Award and gold at the February Pensacola American Advertising Awards Gala in the “Elements of Advertising” category.
Charlotte Blessing, a PSC Fall 2023 graduate, also won two silver awards for her entry, A La Vie, A La Mort Art Exhibit,” at the District 4 competition.
The entry won in the “Out of Home an Ambient Media: Out-of-Home Poster Single” and “Elements of Advertising: Illustration, Single” categories.
In February, Blessing’s entry won gold at the Pensacola American Advertising Awards Gala in the Out-of-Home and Ambient Media category.
