Anna Cavnar

Anna Killian Cavnar has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from The University of Montevallo and a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from The University of Florida.   She also has a Permanent Teaching Certificate K-12 from the University of West Florida.  Cavnar has taught at The University of South Alabama, The University of Montevallo, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  She has also worked in the public school system, teaching high school art.

Cavnar serves as an adjunct faculty member at PSC specializing in drawing and painting.  Her professional work focuses on photo based realism and hyper attention to detail.  While at PSC, Cavnar has taught Drawing II and Humanities Art.  Cavnar continues to explore the figure and still life through her current work, a series of drawings and paintings.
